UB as I still know it do offer UB points for playing play money, though its like 1 per hour which is useless, you have to have 100 to even play with them and the cheapest item is 1500 and its a rather ugly and cheap hat. As for which one I think is better, I would say playing live is far more enjoyable...

Poker Playa failed to mention that he has a special key pad that plugs into the mouse port designed especially for cheating play money poker at Empire. I know of one play money cheat. On your keyboardd, on the startup screen, hit the following keys: Up, Down, Up, Down, Left, Right, Left Right, B, A, B, A, Select, Start.
