• Re: Nuts flush draw. Check, call or raise ?

I guess it depends on your feel for the table. If UTG is fairly aggressive post-flop, and you're sure he's betting the turn even with the third heart out there, then you should set up the CR, especially since you are in perfect position to trap any bettors caught in between. I agree that a set...

  • Re: 15/30$ LIMIT, 10$ SB forced to call?
What would you suggest.... it's worth 5$ from the SB in those LV games, or just fold for FIVE dollars more??? It's gonna save me in the long run.... right?
Guess what Kram...it depends. Heh. Conditions would have to be absolutely perfect for you to get away with...

  • Re: 15/30$ LIMIT, 10$ SB forced to call?

    I would also never play these hands here: 25, 26, 36, 37, 47, 48, 58, 59, 69, T2, T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, J2, J3, J4, J5, J6, J7, Q2, Q3, Q4, Q5, Q6, Q7, Q8 and likely also others. I don't like the fact of playing any suited hand too. Suited hands only have a 3% advantage over unsuited hands... to me...

  • Re: 15/30$ LIMIT, 10$ SB forced to call?

My guess is unless they're real rags (low, uncoordinated cards like 7-2os, 9-3os) then it's a long-term winner to limp in here. You're paying $5 to have a shot at $60, if there's 2 limpers. I'd guess even a hand like 8-10 wins against 1 random BB and 2 random limp hands (not likely...

  • Nuts flush draw. Check, call or raise ?

This is position that caused brainstorming discussion on another forum. 2 situations: 1. You limp in with after 4 more limpers. BB checks and 5 players see the flop . BB checks, UTS bets and all 3 limpers call. What you do ? 2. Same hand, same flop but you are on BB. 5 opponents behind. What you do now...
  • Medium PP in LP

I wanted to bring up the topic of playing medium pocket pairs in late position. By medium I am referring to 88, 99, TT, maybe 77 or JJ. From what I see of a lot online is this: A player raises from some position in front of the player with the pair. The player with the pair will 3 bet his medium (or...
  • Re: Some fun hands!

Playing a N/L tournament last nite and there is a nine high, diamond straight flush ON BOARD!! It's heads up and fortunately I'm out of the hand when the middle position players makes a small continuation bet, now you do this, just incase the other guy doesn't see it. Well the BB who is the...

  • Some fun hands!

Well the internet connection is back at my lunch time break spot so I've been playing a little over my breaks again. Downside is some personal circumstances resulted in me withdrawing about as much of my BR as I could. It left me with about $19 and some change on one site. Well I played a $5/$1 yesterday...
  • Re: Loose Low Limit Game

    Yeah...that is annoying.
Whata ya gonna do?
Continue to fold those crap hands. If you never play Jack Little for the rest of your life...if anything, you will be saving money. On the big blind...I am hoping that the pot is raised before it gets back to me. Caveat...
