  • Re: Nuts flush draw. Check, call or raise ?

The first situation I raise to get more money in the pot now, potential free card, and to maintain aggressive image as I would be raising here with AQ or KQ anyway. By the way, if it gets reraised, in my opinion you only need one caller in between to go ahead and cap it. Be aggressive! The second situation...

  • Some lessons are cheap.......

some not so cheap, and you pay with your pride. How I learned to keep my emotions in check at the table: 20 minutes before I sat at the 3/6 full kill HE table they hit the bad beat jackpot for $15K. Guy that took the beat got $9K and proceeded to get DRUNK. Raised and reraised every pot every street...
  • Re: Kids, don't try this at home.

I think subconciously I knew I was beaten after he reraised the 1st time but it may have took a few more bets before my concious self stopped raising. Probly put 120-140 in on the river. Fold K,J when you flop 2 pair and river a boat!! Sage advice in retrospect, eh.

  • Kids, don't try this at home.

2 hands that show the excellent abilities of yours truly. I humbly submit the following: 10-20 live I'm dealt and make a friendly wage UTG+2, 1 caller, folds and BB calls. Flop I lead out, fold and 1 call. Heads up on the turn. I bet, get raised and reraise. Flat call. Ok, he's got A, Q. River...

  • Fun at 2-4 table.

Yeah, I am playing 2-4. I am one broke chick with moving and all. Anyway, I am playing at my old casino, having a ball sitting next to one of my very favorite players. (his name is Tom and he and his wife are even going to visit me in May when they go to Vegas. I dealt to him my very first hand as a...
  • Re: Loose Low Limit Game

Dustin, If you are first who acts on any post-flop betting round the move you make is a BET not a RAISE. So reading previous post I have to guess what really happen since you write about lot of raises with no single bet. Also when you said "one person called actually reraised" - what does it...

  • Re: Loose Low Limit Game

[quote="Mully"] (I see how this would be the strategy in a no limit game , But I dont see how I could make this work in the limit games I play in, Where bluffing is not really an option due to the multi pots and if I was making a play on someone they arent paying enough attention to notice...

  • Re: May anybody play it different ?

This happens pretty often to me on those 15/30 6handed tables on party. For instance last night I was playing and had AK and raised preflop I think from UTG. Flop came KJT. I bet and it got raised and then reraised behind me, I thought I was making a bad call, but called anyways. The turn was a blank...

  • Re: EP raise and you hold....

Here is what you/he/she should do. Reraise preflop, and if you are reraised again, attempt to reraise. Act beligerent if you are not allowed to reraise. Flop comes, check-raise and reraise and get pissy when you aren't allowed to recap the cap. Turn, bet and watch them fold!! If they hang on till...
