  • Re: Nuts flush draw. Check, call or raise ?

Raise 75% of the time. Call 25% of the time. When you raise, cap the sucker if it comes back to you and two people are still in. Miss the turn, then take a free card if you can or just call. If you make the turn, bet out. But, what the hell do I know. I don't really play limit.

  • Re: 15/30$ LIMIT, 10$ SB forced to call?

    I would also never play these hands here: 25, 26, 36, 37, 47, 48, 58, 59, 69, T2, T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, J2, J3, J4, J5, J6, J7, Q2, Q3, Q4, Q5, Q6, Q7, Q8 and likely also others. I don't like the fact of playing any suited hand too. Suited hands only have a 3% advantage over unsuited hands... to me...

One thing I disagree with most of your guys posts is number 5. Where you have AK and there is a raise and almost everyone calls. I feel often it is not correct to reraise from the blind. All you are doing is making the pot bigger, no one is going to fold. And by making the pot bigger, you are giving...

  • Re: Playing in loose games

Well, as I understand it... Like you said, a raise preflop may give them correct odds to call on the flop. Your goal is for players to make mistakes (call with hands that have a smaller chance of winning than the pot odds). If you think just in terms of that, then their statement may be abstract, but...

  • Re: To raise or not to raise A/X suited?

KJ is fine, if there are no raises. But people tend to think KJ is a super strong hand, often calling big raises with it. Well you have to think that if it is a good tight player who only raises with premium hands, you are just drawing into trouble. There is a good chance you are out kicked, or just...
