  • Re: Getting killed on Paradise Poker ...

Dennis, No matter what site or what B&M you are in, the low limit games are going to be like this. When 7 people see the flop, someone is bound to have something that can beat you. You have to change your strategy to be successful in these games. Bluffing and semi-bluffing don't work well...

LMAO! Wow Kram! Does PokerPlaya have you pegged or what? In regards to not being able to beat the low limit tables at Paradise I suggest you try a different site and see if your success/failure is any different. Paradise is a more mature site and the games might be just a tad tougher. The players might...

  • Re: Loose Low Limit Game

[quote="Mully"] (I see how this would be the strategy in a no limit game , But I dont see how I could make this work in the limit games I play in, Where bluffing is not really an option due to the multi pots and if I was making a play on someone they arent paying enough attention to notice...

  • Loose Low Limit Game

Just looking for some opinions I am a low limit player, 4-8 to 5-10 . Reading your opponents in shorthanded games becomes much more critical because you are required to play more hands and play more aggressively. There is far more bluffing...

  • Seat taking

Here is the micro-quiz. Not sure if absolutely correct answer exists regarding all points but would appreciate to read thru people opinions. 1. You are going to start $10/20 limit HE session. There are three tables and each has one seat vacant. You do not know anyone on either table. However table #1...
  • Re: How does your tourney play differ from ring games?

[quote="Kram"] Anyhow I seem to be a little lost when it comes to tourney play. Even in online sit and goes, to little 50$ buy ins at the house... I always seem to get myself commited to marginal hands, or find myself bluffing to much etc. I could use some help here, just- how do all of your...

  • How does your tourney play differ from ring games?

Ok, I've been playing cards now for many years- since I was very young. But just within the past 2 years have I gotten REALLY serious: ie setting up a home game, reading lots and lots of books and meeting fellow players such as all of you!!!:) I consider myself an above average player, due to the...
