  • Re: Some fun hands!

I agree with that, Seed. You should avoid raising 44 preflop here. Your hand isn't that strong against multiple callers, and a raise isn't gonna limit the field much as a few players have already limped. Limp with your 44 and either flop a set or get out. Also, if you hold 44 in EP or MP folding...

  • Some fun hands!

Well the internet connection is back at my lunch time break spot so I've been playing a little over my breaks again. Downside is some personal circumstances resulted in me withdrawing about as much of my BR as I could. It left me with about $19 and some change on one site. Well I played a $5/$1 yesterday...
  • Re: Getting killed on Paradise Poker ...

LMAO! Wow Kram! Does PokerPlaya have you pegged or what? In regards to not being able to beat the low limit tables at Paradise I suggest you try a different site and see if your success/failure is any different. Well you have to think that if it is a good tight player who only raises with premium hands, you are just drawing into trouble. There is a good chance you are out kicked, or just...

[quote="Jim"] How do you adjust you Limit strategy to No Limit? How do you play tournament NL very-aggressive payers early on? How do you deal with Large stack to you left and right that step on any bets to see flop ? Jim, It is hard to answer your questions in just a couple of sentences but...

  • Re: Value Raising

Yeah you but you have a 3:1 or 4:1 shot against making that draw. You want the most money and more people in the pot. If you limit the number of people in the pot then you will lessen your drawing odds. If enough people drop out you might not have the odds to try for your draw on the river if someone...
