I would also never play these hands here: 25, 26, 36, 37, 47, 48, 58, 59, 69, T2, T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, J2, J3, J4, J5, J6, J7, Q2, Q3, Q4, Q5, Q6, Q7, Q8 and likely also others. Kram, Probably a bad laydown in my opinion. The pot is paying 7-1 (2 more SB into a 14.5 SB pot). It's 8-1 that you will catch your set. But if you do, you can just watch the profit roll in for the next few rounds of betting making the implied odds a lot bigger than the actual 7-1 pot odds. I can't...

I don't think so, sometimes short handed games can be a lot more aggressive and people cap it 'just for fun'. You might have been behind to maybe one person, but with 3 players, and aggressive action, you probably have implied odds to flop your set. Plus, if the board comes all small cards...

I would much rather limp with JQs. You want a lot of callers with JQs, you don't want to limit the field, you should be trying to attract as many players as possible, because this is a hand with high implied odds. Same thing with small-medium pocket pairs... you either want 0 or 1 player in the pot...
