    Kram, Probably a bad laydown in my opinion. The pot is paying 7-1 (2 more SB into a 14.5 SB pot). It's 8-1 that you will catch your set. But if you do, you can just watch the profit roll in for the next few rounds of betting making the implied odds a lot bigger than the actual 7-1 pot odds. I can't...

Your goal is for players to make mistakes (call with hands that have a smaller chance of winning than the pot odds). If you think just in terms of that, then their statement may be abstract, but...
