  • Re: 15/30$ LIMIT, 10$ SB forced to call?

    I would also never play these hands here: 25, 26, 36, 37, 47, 48, 58, 59, 69, T2, T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, J2, J3, J4, J5, J6, J7, Q2, Q3, Q4, Q5, Q6, Q7, Q8 and likely also others. I don't like the fact of playing any suited hand too. Suited hands only have a 3% advantage over unsuited hands... to me...

  • Re: Getting killed on Paradise Poker ...

Dennis, No matter what site or what B&M you are in, the low limit games are going to be like this. When 7 people see the flop, someone is bound to have something that can beat you. You have to change your strategy to be successful in these games. Bluffing and semi-bluffing don't work well...

  • Re: Loose Low Limit Game

Thanks for the response PP, and Dustin "No one is scared of a check" Wow youve opened my eyes to a whole new world of strategy! I definitly need to loosen up pre flop though I lost a rack in 1 hour yesterday, not being able to clear the field with my high pairs and losing to 2 pair or someone...

  • Re: Loose Low Limit Game

[quote="Mully"] (I see how this would be the strategy in a no limit game , But I dont see how I could make this work in the limit games I play in, Where bluffing is not really an option due to the multi pots and if I was making a play on someone they arent paying enough attention to notice...

  • Loose Low Limit Game

Just looking for some opinions I am a low limit player, 4-8 to 5-10 . Anyway the games I play in tend to be filled with timid loose players, Theres always two at the table that will call any ace or medium pair to the river. They just started spreading poker at the casino here and EVERYONE wants in.(...

  • Re: Early position 6 handed and you hold a high wired pair QQ+... do you ever attempt a slow play?

If you never limp in this situation, then you might as well just turn your hand over as they already have you pegged. Poker is a game of deception. If you really are fairly tight, everyone will fold if you raise UTG. Oh boy! I won the blinds with a hand that stands to be the best one preflop and highly...

  • Pot Limit vs. Fixed Limit

Hey everyone! Upfront, please keep in mind that I still am only playing with play money, and that might be coloring my experience (for various reasons I am unable to play poker for money online). One thing I noticed is that I always had trouble making progress in limit hold'em... I couldn't draw...

  • Re: How does your tourney play differ from ring games?

[quote="Kram"] Anyhow I seem to be a little lost when it comes to tourney play. Even in online sit and goes, to little 50$ buy ins at the house... I always seem to get myself commited to marginal hands, or find myself bluffing to much etc. I could use some help here, just- how do all of your...
