  • Re: 15/30$ LIMIT, 10$ SB forced to call?

My guess is unless they're real rags (low, uncoordinated cards like 7-2os, 9-3os) then it's a long-term winner to limp in here. You're paying $5 to have a shot at $60, if there's 2 limpers. I'd guess even a hand like 8-10 wins against 1 random BB and 2 random limp hands (not likely...

  • Re: Medium PP in LP

I always three bet TT and better against one player (original raiser). If his raise was already called or if there are more limpers before him I would three bet only QQ or better, rare JJ. As for smaller pairs against the single raiser I play both ways - I may three bet with any pocket pair, even with...

  • Re: Medium PP in LP

So much depends on the limit and if you have any info on the player raising. If I'm grinding low limit, playing 4 tables of 2-4 or 3-6, and against one raiser that I don't know to be particularly fishy or surprisingly decent, I will usually put in a 3rd bet with JJ and TT; 99 88 and 77 I'll...

  • Re: Low limit Hold Em, raising AK, AQ, AJ from BB

Yes on all of them, yes yes and yes. The more limpers the better if they are suited because big suited cards play well multihanded. With high cards you also want to get your money in before the flop because a] you probably have the best hand b] high cards make the most money on preflop and on the flop...

  • Re: Jacks down in MP make it three to go or call two?

You are right here for the most part, in a small blind game I would still raise. (Like my local game of 1-5 with a 1 dollar blind). With a big blind(2/4 with a 1/2 blind) game I might not. [quote="PokerPlaya"] I disagree with your last sentence Jon. I like to limp with Jacks in LP with many...

  • Re: Jacks down in MP make it three to go or call two?

I disagree with your last sentence Jon. I like to limp with Jacks in LP with many callers, play it just like a small pair. You are playing the implied odds to hit a set. A raise is useless in LP with many callers, not going to knock anyone out. Might as well call if there are 7-8 limpers in the hand...
