If you are holding a pair of sevens, you can not flop a straight. However, if you mean the board reads 6-10 for a straight (negating your trips) then you and your opponent each have a straight. This is a split pot. Tell your friend that a poker hand is made out of 5 cards only. On the other hand...

I would most likely just call instead of raise. By raising you aren't going to get a free card on the turn if it doesn't hit as easily because there are so many players. But more so, by just calling, if it does hit, you are hoping the same player bets because then you can get callers in between...

Fold. Originally I would say call but the :ac: is just going to raise behind you. He (she) probably has :ac: :kd: and flopped the classic top pair nut flush draw. UTG +1 obviously has :jh: :js: so the board pairing could actually give someone else quads and kill our hero. Even if hero rivered the case...

Your percentages are based on everyone having random hands. But everyone in the pot likely has a pretty good hand (psuedo-random), there were 3 bets preflop. So the chance of someone with a good hand having a club 6 or under is much smaller than the chance of them having a club larger than 6. Also, you...

I played this game this past weekend and I do think it is beatable. My friend and I each bought in for $300 and he cashed out for $750 and I cashed out for $1200.
