  • Re: 15/30$ LIMIT, 10$ SB forced to call?

I play 15/30 on party a lot where there is also 10 and 15 blinds. I still fold my small blind pretty often, especially if there are a bunch of players in. If there is only 1 limper or 2 maybe, and I have somewhat mediocre cards then I may limp... otherwise I fold. I have seen this to be a long-term loser...

  • Re: Getting killed on Paradise Poker ...

LMAO! Wow Kram! Does PokerPlaya have you pegged or what? In regards to not being able to beat the low limit tables at Paradise I suggest you try a different site and see if your success/failure is any different. Paradise is a more mature site and the games might be just a tad tougher. The players might...

  • Re: Golden Opportunity

This is the only discussion I found on this new table game, so I'll join in. I discovered the game just this past weekend in Borgata, Atlantic City, and I like it a lot. It does seem like a beatable game. I won consistently over 4 sessions, and I'd like to think it wasn't just a continuous...

  • Re: Set on 4-flush board.

Fold. Originally I would say call but the :ac: is just going to raise behind you. He (she) probably has :ac: :kd: and flopped the classic top pair nut flush draw. UTG +1 obviously has :jh: :js: so the board pairing could actually give someone else quads and kill our hero. Even if hero rivered the case...

  • Re: Low limit Hold Em, raising AK, AQ, AJ from BB

Yes on all of them, yes yes and yes. The more limpers the better if they are suited because big suited cards play well multihanded. With high cards you also want to get your money in before the flop because a] you probably have the best hand b] high cards make the most money on preflop and on the flop...

  • Re: Nuts straight on turn.

"Ya, definitely depends. All I can add to this is that calling might be effective because this pot (with 6? callers) is big enough that everyone who has outs is probably gonna chase anyway, so don't raise off the top pair, two pairs who don't have much if any chance of outdrawing you anyway...

  • Re: Playing in loose games

PokerPlaya's explination is excellent, but if it still "feels" weird to you, another way to think of it might be like this. These very loose players are going to call to the river nearly all the time, right? So why not call rather than raise preflop, fold when you miss the flop, and see...

  • Re: Feeler bets... example...

So the 'right' move here would be to fold? He's representing top pair, or better with his raise betting for value. Though, he could have raised with 8s and is now raising to protect his hand from the turn....while finding out where I am in the hand. He could be holding 10-Qs and is semi bluffing...

  • Re: Hand at the card club

This hand illustrates the problem of top pair crappy kicker. With these types of hand you have to know when to let them go. I would look to make 2 pair or a flush draw in order to continue with these types. I really do not see what else you can do with this type of hand other than folding to the 2 bets...
