• Re: 15/30$ LIMIT, 10$ SB forced to call?
What would you suggest.... it's worth 5$ from the SB in those LV games, or just fold for FIVE dollars more??? It's gonna save me in the long run.... right?
Guess what Kram...it depends. Heh. Conditions would have to be absolutely perfect for you to get away with...

  • Re: 15/30$ LIMIT, 10$ SB forced to call?

I play 15/30 on party a lot where there is also 10 and 15 blinds. I still fold my small blind pretty often, especially if there are a bunch of players in. If there is only 1 limper or 2 maybe, and I have somewhat mediocre cards then I may limp... otherwise I fold. I have seen this to be a long-term loser...

  • Re: I hate dropping the best hand....

Yes, I would call it. Many players overbet their hands and second high 2 pairs on non highly coordinated board imho deserve to be played. Three recent pots as illustration: $5/$10 Hold'em - Friday, July 08, 20:15:09 EDT 2005 Table Table 11367 (6 max) (Real Money) Seat 2 is the button Total number...

  • Re: Golden Opportunity

Geez, what will they think of next (caribbean-stud-let-it-ride-Spanish-hold-em??). The best game of this genre is Pai Gow, 13 card if you got it, if not reach down, grab you sack and take the dealer button once in awhile. What's the hole in this game? Easy, you have to post an ante (blind) every...

  • Re: Playing Ax short handed

    1) On the button, everyone folds to you, you have A5o ?? I alwayse raise - no exceptions. 2) You are on the button holding A5o with 1 or 2 callers in front of you ?? I never raise this hand in this position. Sometimes fold, more oftem - limp in. 3) You are under the gun holding A9s ?? I will raise this...

[2] Well...I was going to go back to this thread this a.m. and expound on my answers, but now I see it more difficult than I had thought. The best I can say is that..IN GENERAL this is what I would do in this situation,6 handed, against the players I normally face. 6 handed is a different beast altogether...

  • bummer

When good hands go bad file: 6-12 HE at the local. Your hero is dealt Q,Q in the small blind. 2 players call, the hand is raised and I reraise. BB folds and 2 callers stay in. 4 in pot. Flop: Q, 6, 10 with 2 spades. I check, loosey goosey bets, 1 fold, 1 call and I reraise. 2 calls. Turn: 10 I bet, loosey...

  • Re: 6 handed, SB, all fold to you, ever just call?

    1. The hand is not playable unless you can raise and there are not many hands I would raise in that position. 2. Yes all the time, of course if I have a big hand I raise. I love the free flop, they are rarely limping with big hands to trap, almost any flop checked to you can be bet and won. Raising with...

  • Re: Feeler bets... example...

Player dependent of course. Another Blind hand eh Kram? Well...you said he is a straight forward player, so you're likely beat or slightly less likely...he is trying to see "FCC"...five cards cheap. I was more drawn to your "bet to see where I am" statement. With weak position...
