• Re: 15/30$ LIMIT, 10$ SB forced to call?
What would you suggest.... it's worth 5$ from the SB in those LV games, or just fold for FIVE dollars more??? It's gonna save me in the long run.... right?
Guess what Kram...it depends. Heh. Conditions would have to be absolutely perfect for you to get away with...

  • Re: Ummm......your head just exploded

Mainly - I love the way Stephen tells the story. I capped it once with 3-4 S on the Button. Won that little beauty, giant pot, lots of steaming from the players at the end of the hand. When they asked how I could cap it, I said, "Just like this," as I dusted the chips out in front of me. *still...

  • Golden Opportunity

Hey Gang, First off, let me say that I am not being a shill for this game. I think this game is a sucker game. But here it comes.... There was a new game that just showed up in our casino. Today was apparently the first night for the game. It's called Texas Hold'em Bonus by the Mikohn company...

  • Re: Limit - VRS - No Limit

I think it all depends on the type of tourney. There is a friday tourney at the Trop in AC which I like to play. The buy-in is now $65 and they allow unlimited re-buys for the first three rounds and 1 add-on after the 3rd round. In this tourney people tend to be VERY loose and aggressive early as they...

  • Re: Live game and online poker.. Which one is better?

I like Paradise a lot better. The software is much better than any poker site I have ever played. I have never had a single problem with them either, software is always reliable, never freezes or disconnects like party and others. (From my opinion at least). Also, not sure if they do this still, but...

  • Re: How does your tourney play differ from ring games?
Anyhow I seem to be a little lost when it comes to tourney play. Even in online sit and goes, to little 50$ buy ins at the house... I always seem to get myself commited to marginal hands, or find myself bluffing to much etc. I could use some help here, just- how do all of your...

  • Re: Building a Poker Table

Shape is the most important consideration. If you are going to have a center dealer, IE the same person is going to deal all or most of the time, a oval or rectangular shape might be the better choice depending on the room you are going to be playing in. If the deal is going to pass between players then...

  • Re: PRE FLOP argument

I have two perfect examples of going all in with :as: :ks: At the WSOP this year, I joined a $50 satellite to get to the $250 super satellite. The very first hand of the game I look down to :as: :ks: , I was in the 9s, the 3s moves all in, the 5s calls and like an idiot, I call too. So we got 3 players...
