I play at Paradise, only because they took my credit card with no hassle. It seems very tough to win there, at all levels. There are a lot of good players there, and I don't see a lot of plain old fish. Except for me, maybe.

A subject that has been hashed a lot - best place to play. Depends on what you're looking for - good competition, fish, graphics, fast play, lots of players, reliability, etc. Check the thread "Online Poker is Rigged". I play Paradise, Party, and Poker Stars. Full Tilt is a popular one...

I am seriously thinking of leaving UB because of the difficulty of getting hand histories. Stars is nuts because of those eyeballs. Considering I'm a novice and prefer to fish in ponds with more and smaller fish, is Stars the right way to go? Aren't the players at Stars generally better than...

You put this under the limit section on purpose? Because it's much easier to play 'your cards' in limit rather then NLHE... In NLHE more so then Limit I play the player, of course.... that's poker. It's a combination of both- but definately more player dependant. It's so much...

Nih: you played it 100% correct! I'd of laid that hand down on the turn also- I'd put myself to be drawing to 4 outs, and think FOR SURE I was saving bets by folding on the turn. Like Doyle says in SuperSystem, don't be ashamed to once in awhile fold a winner.... all the top players do it...
